I leave for university in on Friday (23rd Sept 2017) and I have obviously been shopping A LOT and hunting down for things to take with me either for room decoration or practicality. Places I’ve visited to gather these things are mainly Dunelm and Amazon and Hobbycraft, however I’ll be taking pretty much everything I bought a while back in my Primark & Superdrug Haul.
First off, I ordered these two little metal pots from Amazon, for under £2 each, one blue, one pink. I thought they’d be absolutely gorgeous for holding my makeup brushes and stationary for uni, and would match my room perfectly. I did order these a while back and took some time to arrive but are so worth the wait!
Next, I went on a trip to Dunelm with my mum to grab a few bits and bobs for our new house and also my uni room. I came across this super cute and small, old style alarm clock. It was £10 and runs on one AA battery. This will look perfect on my desk or bedside table when I move in.
Still at Dunelm, I came across these clothes hangers – yes, I get excited over the little things – for just £2 for each bunch, which I got one blue and one pink. I have a feeling I might have to go back and buy more because of the amount of clothes I hang up, haha.
I also fell in love with a white plastic basket that my mum had previously bought too, so I made sure I picked up one of these, perfect for keeping all my toiletries and skincare in. At the moment I currently store it all in a draw in my bedroom however because I have this beautiful basket, I know it’ll be on display when I move!
The last (and CUTEST) thing I found before we left, was this duck egg blue, floral print treasure chest box. I decided to use it as a shoe box to store my excessive collection of shoes in. This goes with the theme and colours of my room perfectly and is just overall SUPER CUTE. This cost £24.99, which I don’t think is bad for the size and amount of shoes I managed to get in it.
Also, earlier in the month I was in Hobbycraft with my sister and we found the most adorable mason glass with a small cactus on and a red plastic lid and straw. I had to grab it, especially seen as though it was £1!
When I get moved in and settled at uni, do be expecting a room tour type post because I cannot wait to get decorating and unpacking all my goodies I’ve found.
Which is your fave goody I found in this post? Have you got any favourites of your own that you are glad you found?!
