I haven’t been the most active in posting blog posts recently, but I thought I’d do a post that has been a long time in the pipeline. One thing I have been doing more often in my life is journaling, self-reflection and intention-setting. I’ve journaled for many years now on and off, mainly when someone else has introduced me to it or within a workshop or class I have done, however I started journaling more consistently back at the beginning of Lockdown in March 2020 and it is a habit that I said I’d continue long after the pandemic is over. Without a shadow of a doubt, this year has been the most unexpected, heart-breaking, toughest 12 months of many peoples lives. I’d be stupid to think it’s been plain sailing for anyone around the world, especially as so many lives have been lost and so many economies and industries have been shattered, not to mention people’s livelihoods. As we all are aware, no one seems to know when this lock down/quarantine time will end and I think I’m becoming okay with that. I normally live such a structured life and everything has to go to plan and I’ve always got to be busy, but that isn’t the case anymore. So… back in my post all about ‘Positivity and Happiness‘ I said at the end that I’d be following that up with a post on my self-care and how I look after myself.
