I haven’t been the most active in posting blog posts recently, but I thought I’d do a post that has been a long time in the pipeline. One thing I have been doing more often in my life is journaling, self-reflection and intention-setting. I’ve journaled for many years now on and off, mainly when someone else has introduced me to it or within a workshop or class I have done, however I started journaling more consistently back at the beginning of Lockdown in March 2020 and it is a habit that I said I’d continue long after the pandemic is over. Without a shadow of a doubt, this year has been the most unexpected, heart-breaking, toughest 12 months of many peoples lives. I’d be stupid to think it’s been plain sailing for anyone around the world, especially as so many lives have been lost and so many economies and industries have been shattered, not to mention people’s livelihoods. Finally, at the end of May we’ll be jetting off to Amsterdam after so many years of seeing my friends and family go, I finally get to experience it myself!
We’ve booked flights, a hotel and are planning to visit and partake in a few exciting things whilst there. We’ve composed a list of ideas for places to go, things to do and experiences to have.
