I don’t know about you guys but I have well and truly hit a rut. Quarantine and Lockdown is starting to come to an end (not saying that COVID isn’t a thing anymore, it is. Please be safe!) and things are slowly getting back to normal but for some reason I have hit a rut.Continue reading “Getting out of THAT Covid-19 Rut.”
Yes, I do apologise for the One Direction reference in the title, but I couldn’t not…
Recently I saw a friend’s blog post on the small things that make you happy and it got me thinking how grateful I am for those little things that miss out on the amount of appreciation they deserve daily. I’ve listed a few below but there are hundreds of little things that we should be more grateful for that go un-noticed.Continue reading “And all these Little Things…”
Since this whole lock-down / quarantine event happened, I’ve been putting more time towards things that I’ve been wanting to do for a while or revisiting things I used to do when I had more time.
Reading has been one of these things, I used to read, now when I say this I mean occasionally not every night, unless the book was GOOOOD. But I definitely read more when I was younger (as the majority of people do) so I said to myself I was going to take up reading more. I find setting myself goals in how many books I want to read in what time frame makes me more likely to read too, as well as making a To-Read List. Continue reading “My To – Read List”
Week Fourteen: ‘Define ‘Love‘ in your life.’
It’s the last one and it’s a good one! I know I have taken forever to post this one, however I took the whole of February off from writing, posting, promoting anything to do with my blog, mainly due to my schedule being so busy and up in the air I didn’t know when I’d have the time.
But as well because of having such a manic January I find it hard getting back into a normal routine with everything element of my life when it hits Feb, but this year it threw me off more because of the car crash I was in the day before my birthday (end of Jan) so I had been sat out of dance with a fractured rib and wasn’t really organised enough in any area of my daily routines, But here I am now. Continue reading “‘Loving You’: Define ‘Love’ in your life.”
And we continue…. Continue reading “‘Loving You’: 10 Small things that make you happy.”
Woah, 2 blog posts in a week, who’s this? Well last week I published a blog post kicking off my 14 week series called “Loving You” where each week i’ll have a different task or question to answer all aiming to better myself, grow and appreciate myself more and learn to love myself fully. So here goes nothing…
Where do I begin…. I’ve posted on here before about Stay Sassy, I wrote a blog post after my first ever event back in February 2018 which I’ll link here. If you’re a bit confused or want a refresher on what #StaySassy is I’d recommend you go read that first. It’s now October 2019 and I just attended my 10th event and my gosh was it one to remember.
Just before I start I want to let you know my ex does know I am writing this post and he’s okay with it, and my boyfriend is also okay with me writing this post. P.S This is a long one, but hopefully very worth the read. Also this isn’t meant to be a negative view on relationships and break ups it’s my story of the silver lining, my awful break up had on me, back in October 2017.
I’ve touched upon the term ‘Happiness‘ a lot in my blog but never have I addressed what it means to me or what I consider to be ‘Happy‘.
If you ask someone what is ‘Happy‘ most will answer ‘A feeling‘. Now it can be an I do see it as that but most people feel you have to have something, have done something, have someone to make you happy. In my eyes that’s all a lie. You can just be generally happy. Now that is not at all to say I don’t have things that make me happy or are an addition to my general happiness because my family and friends all make me happy, my hobbies, my career path, my aims, ambitions, future. They all make me happy. But I can also just be happy. Continue reading “Do MORE of what makes YOU happy!”
So… back in my post all about ‘Positivity and Happiness‘ I said at the end that I’d be following that up with a post on my self-care and how I look after myself. Well I recently came up with a checklist I keep in my positivity book so I thought I’d share it with you. Obviously these are all personal things to me that I do when needing a refresh and re-boost and these aren’t 100% certain to make you feel better but even just give them a go and see..
