Tips on going back to the gym!

The time has come! Tomorrow is the day! 12th April has been a date long awaited by near enough everyone in England as a date in where some of the COVID-19 restrictions get relaxed. The big one for a lot of fitness fanatics out there is that the gyms are allowed to re-open again! I decided to write this post off the back of an Instagram post I published over on @hannahkayfitness in where I gave a few reminders for those people who might be knocking down the door to their gym the minute it re-opens again.

PT Diaries: First Update!

If you have read my previous PT Diaries blog post (Can find here) you’ll know I’m in the process of studying and training to become a Personal Trainer. 20 Good Things to come out of 2020.

Without a shadow of a doubt, this year has been the most unexpected, heart-breaking, toughest 12 months of many peoples lives. I’d be stupid to think it’s been plain sailing for anyone around the world, especially as so many lives have been lost and so many economies and industries have been shattered, not to mention people’s livelihoods. However, as I always do I am going to try shine a ray of positivity on this post with counting down some of the ‘Good’ things that have come out of this year.

At Home Workouts I’ve been Loving

Since Lockdown begin, so many people have had to part ways with the gym. Some are secretly quite happy about that and others are missing their beloved. I’ve been focusing on my fitness and health a lot more and have culminated a list of workouts I have been doing or at least tried during these times. I hope this helps you find an at home workout you love and pushes you to truly enjoy working out, not see it as a chore.

My Daily Lock Down ‘Routine’.

As lock down/quarantine is starting to lift I have only just fallen in to a routine that I’d still like to try stick to. It’s given me a slight structure to my day. I have been on and off ‘plans’ and ‘routines’ and even ‘timetables’ in the past few weeks or just having a few tasks I want to complete in that day.

My ‘TALA’ Wardrobe

If anyone knows of ‘Grace Beverley‘ you will know the huge positive impact she has made and how she has gained her title of ‘Girl Boss’ within the sustainable activewear industry. Over a year ago now (it was their 1 year birthday on 7th May) she created a brand called TALA (@wearetala on Insta), which I have been following now since day 1 and loved everything they have produced.
