I’ve been thinking about doing this post for a while, in fact I first had the thought about writing it back in my first year but I put it off as I knew my blog wasn’t really aimed at or focusing on dance, however I am trying to change that and write more about dance because, as a lifestyle blogger, that is my lifestyle.Continue reading “A Day in the Life at Dance School.”
I found this idea when scrolling through a number of other bloggers websites, this idea came from a lovely girl called Ellie K which you can find her post here. I did have a few ideas to put into this anyway but seeing that others have made it into a blog post, I thought why not? And I’d also love to know what’s on your Post Quarantine To-Do List. Week Fourteen: ‘Define ‘Love‘ in your life.’
It’s the last one and it’s a good one! I know I have taken forever to post this one, however I took the whole of February off from writing, posting, promoting anything to do with my blog, mainly due to my schedule being so busy and up in the air I didn’t know when I’d have the time.
But as well because of having such a manic January I find it hard getting back into a normal routine with everything element of my life when it hits Feb, but this year it threw me off more because of the car crash I was in the day before my birthday (end of Jan) so I had been sat out of dance with a fractured rib and wasn’t really organised enough in any area of my daily routines, But here I am now. Week Five: 10 Things you’re thankful for.
This one I thought would be super easy because I have so many amazing things in my life to be grateful/thankful for however after writing a few down I realised I’m thankful for so much more, because as humans we take so much for granted every single day without even realising it.
And we continue…. Continue reading “‘Loving You’: 10 Small things that make you happy.”
Where do I begin…. I’ve posted on here before about Stay Sassy, I wrote a blog post after my first ever event back in February 2018 which I’ll link here. If you’re a bit confused or want a refresher on what #StaySassy is I’d recommend you go read that first. It’s now October 2019 and I just attended my 10th event and my gosh was it one to remember.
After completing a year at ‘Addict Dance Academy’, I am now set on knowing where I want to be in my training. And it’s here. At Addict! Not university.
I started university in September 2017 at De Montfort University, studying a BA Hons in Dance. Now having received an unconditional offer I was super excited to start training, expecting it to be quite full on and physically intense. Now my previous sentence describes that of full time dance school and not university. Continue reading “How I went from University to Dance School!”
Recently there has been a lot going in my life that unsurprisingly, have affected me quite a lot, many varying emotions, events and scenarios. I’m not always the best person when it comes to however I can change my bedroom layout once a month and be okay, but different changes affect different people in different ways. So lately I’ve been thinking a lot about my future, in terms of dance and my performing career. After having years, of being so certain in what I want to do in my life, it’s come to a point, where that is no longer the case.
I don’t know what I want…
So here’s to another month! Not a giant deal to update you on, but the end of this month was a highlight!
At the beginning of October after just a month of training at Addict, I had my first audition! As much as I was not expecting to get through the first round never mind get the job, I was impressed I’d even pushed myself to turn up, learn the routine and perform it. It gave me such an insight into the commercial industry auditions and how cut throat it can be.
