Recently I’ve been getting a few questions around the topic of blogging and starting up blogs. Firstly, I feel honoured that anyone would even consider asking myself as I have only been blogging for nearly 3 years now so I don’t consider myself established enough to be answering their questions. However I have learnt a lot in these few years and I would consider myself a good person to come to for advice.Continue reading “Tips, Tricks and General Advice for New Bloggers!”
As I’m writing this post we are all still in lockdown/quarantine and I thought I’d try bring some positivity to the blogging world (not that we need it, it’s the most supportive community I’m a part of!) but just sharing my love of other blogs and bloggers that I enjoy reading:Continue reading “Blogs & Bloggers I’m Loving ATM”
This is not going to be a long post at all, just a little update to let you know I’m still here, still blogging just not publishing anything at the moment, over the last few months I’ve put blogging to the back of my mind in exchange for my academics and just general social life as I felt I was putting too much pressure on myself to keep up to date in blog posts. Hi there, as many of you know, yes, I have a blog, and yes, I know I’ve not been active recently on here with posting or just overall active on my social media for this blog. Since going to Amsterdam back in May I’ve not touched my WordPress or even thought about coming on here to write a post and to be honest with you, I’ve no idea why I haven’t wrote any posts or published anything. I have been incredibly busy which would definitely play a huge part in it, I’ve not spent more than 10 days in one place, I’ve been back and forth and all over since finishing my first year at uni.
So back in September I booked to go to the Blogosphere Christmas Festival which will be my first blogging event since starting up my blog on June 10th and the time has now come for me to write my post on my experience of the day. Just a little life update for you!
Many of you know already that my family and I moved house at the end of July this year (2017) to a new house, and we are just about settled in now with all the trouble we went through near the beginning of the move. So, why am I moving again? University! Of course you already know from the previous university posts! Continue reading “Update: Moving Again?”
As you saw in a previous post (can find here), I have been living without Wifi since we moved in to our new house over a month ago, this is a round up post of all the things I have been up to whilst not being able to use much internet. You’ll have to let me know if there is anything else I could get up to whilst STILL waiting on the company to sort our internet out… Continue reading “Things to do when you’re without WiFi?”
Most of you know I moved house quite recently, it was such an exciting and emotional time. The house I moved from was basically my childhood home from a young age, where I made all my memories growing up so it was quite emotional leaving it all behind to move to a brand new house (still in the same village). Continue reading “Living without Wifi?!?”
So as of now I’ve been blogging for 2 months and 7 days, so I thought I’d write a post about my experience so far because although it hasn’t been long, I’ve learnt so much which I feel I should share with the people I learnt it from. You.
The first thing that I noticed when I started up my blog was the amount of decisions to be made, not just what to write, but what theme and colour and font you want on your blog, how many menus you want, if there is a ‘read more‘ line etc… this was when I first realised it’s not as simple as I thought. Continue reading “Blogging so far…”
