As we’re coming into the dark months of the year and not seeing as much sunshine or daylight as we’d like, many of us start to think of where we’d want to go on holiday or places we’d like to visit and so when I first started blogging back in 2017; I wrote a UK-Based Travel Bucket List (which I’ve now made private as in my opinion it’s a rubbish blog post, haha) however then in 2018 I ‘updated’ that bucket list to include places outside the UK. So I asked on twitter a few weeks back what I should do with my blog as I feel like I will not be able to maintain posting regularly due to going to dance school, which I described as dancing the same amount of hours as a full time job, therefore my spare time would consist of working a part time job to pay for…well everything and life. And also sleeping, because you know – dancing everyday, all day is going to be shattering.
I decided to create a series I’ll trial for a few months where at the end of each month I’ll do a “Life Update” style blog, explain what I’ve been up to, how I’ve been feeling, what I plan to do next month and just little bits like that. So this is the first. I know ‘summer’ isn’t a month but I thought I’d start it off by giving you and overall view of what I got up to in my months off during summer. As many of you might or might not be aware I took a short trip away to Amsterdam with my boyfriend back in May. Whilst we were there, as a typical lover of all food I took a photo (not a pretty ‘blogger’ style photo what so ever) of nearly everything I ate whilst on that trip, and on the flight back I was thinking about all the amazing food I’d had and that I wanted to share it with you all in case anyone was planning a trip to Amsterdam at some point in the future.
This post is more of a list of places I visited and the pictures to go with them, not a review style post, but if you are super interested in knowing a detailed review of a certain place please don’t hesitate to ask! Continue reading “My Amsterdam Food Diary…”
Hi there, as many of you know, yes, I have a blog, and yes, I know I’ve not been active recently on here with posting or just overall active on my social media for this blog. Since going to Amsterdam back in May I’ve not touched my WordPress or even thought about coming on here to write a post and to be honest with you, I’ve no idea why I haven’t wrote any posts or published anything. I have been incredibly busy which would definitely play a huge part in it, I’ve not spent more than 10 days in one place, I’ve been back and forth and all over since finishing my first year at uni.
Finally, at the end of May we’ll be jetting off to Amsterdam after so many years of seeing my friends and family go, I finally get to experience it myself!
We’ve booked flights, a hotel and are planning to visit and partake in a few exciting things whilst there. We’ve composed a list of ideas for places to go, things to do and experiences to have.
I have never been one to go travelling or fly abroad very often, however recently I’ve had a wave of motivation to see more than my bedroom. I have just booked a holiday to Amsterdam at the end of May and am currently in the midst of planning what we’ll be doing when we’re there. That will be a whole different post (keep an eye out). But I couldn’t help but keep reeling of lists of places I want to visit and I’ve tried to set my self a goal of before I’m 30 I’ll have done ALL if not MOST of these places… Continue reading “Travel Bucket List (*Updated*)”
