Leaving a comment on Hannah Kay: When you leave a comment on any of my posts or pages on my blog, your name and email address will be stored on my WordPress account. This information will only be used for me to see which who has left me a comment.
Giveaways/Competitions: If there is a giveaway being hosted on my blog, your information will only be used to contact you if you’re the winner, if not it will just be stored.
Before I get started in breaking down all the different types of possibly content you can find on my blog and social platforms, I do just want to point out that I never share or work with any brands that I personally wouldn’t like or don’t use etc. I will never change my opinion of a product or service just to get sales or paid promotion, I will stay true and honest within my content.
Sponsored Blog Posts
Within the first paragraph of the post I will declare that the post is sponsored buy using (*AD) stating the partnership (of who I will always state clearly who it is I am working with).
Sponsored Social Media Posts
These will use the hashtags #ad or #sponsored within the caption of the content on Instagram or within the tweet on Twitter following guidelines. I will also state clearly who it is I am working with
Whether in a blog post or social media post, if I have been sent a product or gifted an experience/trip or service, this type of content will always be marked as (*Gifted) or #gifted.
Previous Brand Relationships
If I have previously worked with a brand on content however not on the current piece, I will inform you of the previous collaboration if it took place within a year but also state that the current piece is not in collaboration.
If I am using Affiliate links, such as Amazon, within a post, I will ensure I declare it within the first two paragraphs or before an affiliate link is used or by using [*Aff] on Instagram/Twitter.
Affiliate links do not cost you any extra money when buying the product/service, it just sometimes helps me get a little extra income.
If you see something wrong?
However if a post does not contain or clearly state this it is most likely that is it not a sponsored or gifted piece of content, if you are unsure of this feel free to contact me as I want to be as transparent as possible.
