So when this post goes live I’ll have been at university a total of 13 days, of which non have been unlucky and only 4 of them I’ve had lessons. I have been having so much fun and getting to know a lot of new people (not as scary as I thought it would be) on my course and in my accommodation. I have been comparing what I thought about uni before and now that I’m here and thought I’d write a post about what I’ve learnt so far. This post has gone up today (on a Thursday) despite me saying I’ll be cutting the post schedule down to once a week, just because I thought as well as my usual posts you’ll be seeing, such as Looking after your skin? and a similar post due to come on Monday, it would be nice for you to catch up on what I’m currently doing in life. So without further ado… Continue reading “Things I Learnt at Freshers Week!”
On with today’s post… Over the last few months, I’ve been really trying to look after and take care of my skin! Continue reading “Looking after your skin?”
Just a little life update for you!
Many of you know already that my family and I moved house at the end of July this year (2017) to a new house, and we are just about settled in now with all the trouble we went through near the beginning of the move. So, why am I moving again? University! Of course you already know from the previous university posts! Continue reading “Update: Moving Again?”
I leave for university in on Friday (23rd Sept 2017) and I have obviously been shopping A LOT and hunting down for things to take with me either for room decoration or practicality. Places I’ve visited to gather these things are mainly Dunelm and Amazon and Hobbycraft, however I’ll be taking pretty much everything I bought a while back in my Primark & Superdrug Haul.
As you saw in a previous post (can find here), I have been living without Wifi since we moved in to our new house over a month ago, this is a round up post of all the things I have been up to whilst not being able to use much internet. You’ll have to let me know if there is anything else I could get up to whilst STILL waiting on the company to sort our internet out… Continue reading “Things to do when you’re without WiFi?”
Everyone loves a good cosy night, whether it’s movie night, pamper night or just a girls night with a bottle of wine? I do love all three of those, however I’ve found myself becoming quite attached to my cosy nights in and thought I’d share how I enjoy a nice relaxing evening.
Here’s just one of my ideas for my ideal “Cosy Night In”.
Most of you know I moved house quite recently, it was such an exciting and emotional time. The house I moved from was basically my childhood home from a young age, where I made all my memories growing up so it was quite emotional leaving it all behind to move to a brand new house (still in the same village). Continue reading “Living without Wifi?!?”
I have seen many people asking others for Netflix recommendations recently so have decided to write a post on the ones I have enjoyed and want to recommend to you lot! I love a good cosy night in with Netflix and a cuppa tea, so I have a long list of those I have got through or are currently watching which I have enjoyed… Let me know if you agree with any or if you want to recommend me any you think I’d like! Without further ado…. Continue reading “My Netflix Obsessions”
So as of now I’ve been blogging for 2 months and 7 days, so I thought I’d write a post about my experience so far because although it hasn’t been long, I’ve learnt so much which I feel I should share with the people I learnt it from. You.
The first thing that I noticed when I started up my blog was the amount of decisions to be made, not just what to write, but what theme and colour and font you want on your blog, how many menus you want, if there is a ‘read more‘ line etc… this was when I first realised it’s not as simple as I thought. Continue reading “Blogging so far…”
So I went on a little shopping spree, and when I say little I mean I didn’t buy the entire shop, but I definitely had arm ache when leaving. I started in Primark and then went to Superdrug and also called at a local garden centre on my way home. Here’s what I bought:
So when I go into Primark, I never leave with what I went in for but somehow I always spend way more than budgeted, how does that happen? I have just moved house and will be moving to uni in September so was looking for little room accessories to decorate and although I did find some I also found 2 dresses and a jumpsuit. Continue reading “Primark & Superdrug Haul!”
