I have seen many people asking others for Netflix recommendations recently so have decided to write a post on the ones I have enjoyed and want to recommend to you lot! I love a good cosy night in with Netflix and a cuppa tea, so I have a long list of those I have got through or are currently watching which I have enjoyed… Let me know if you agree with any or if you want to recommend me any you think I’d like! Without further ado….
This has been my life for the past half a year, I have watched every episode of all 8 seasons and loved everything about it. So enticing which is great when a programme has so many seasons, I used to have a look at programmes and if they had anymore than, say, 4/5 seasons I wouldn’t bother starting, but my god am I glad I watched this. I cannot recommend it enough, such a thrilling, nail-biting story-line, constantly exciting you to click ‘yes’ to watching the next episode and getting stuck in that Netflix loop.
3 seasons, 3 or 4 episodes in each, all about 1hr 3mins in length, it is loved by so many and we celebrate with excitement when another episode is released. If you haven’t watched this yet, I have no clue what you are waiting for, it is superbly written and is incredibly performed, I am currently on the countdown for the next episode. It is something that you can easily catch up on or watch in bulk in preparation for the next season/episode to be aired. So, guess what? get on with it! 😉
- Jane the Virgin
I started watching this a very long time ago and just never got into it so when I saw it pop up on Netflix, I thought I’d give it a second chance and I’m SO glad I did. It’s such an emotional roller coaster and full of drama and cliffhangers after every episode, I’m hooked. It’s typical rom-com but with a hell of a lot of drama thrown in there too, anyone that loves that genre should already be watching, so I don’t know what you’re doing here? 😉
- Black Mirror
Creepy and Messed up. All I can say. But interesting and for some unbeknown reason, exciting and addictive to watch.
- 13 Reasons Why
I know this one is a rough topic as it practically split the nation, I personally found it very hard to watch but I focused on watching purely the story-line and characters build throughout. I am still unsure my entire opinion but 1) wouldn’t watch it again and 2) am glad I did watch it.
Cannot recommend enough! I didn’t use to be a huge fan of Marvel and DC films or series, but this one really grabbed my attention because it’s about how Batman became who he is, so in this programme he is still a young teen and we see the first meeting he has with all the characters we know of now. It’s just super interesting not to see the same kind of movie/programmes again and again.
And that will do, we’ll be here for years if I continue. I’m sure there are plenty of other people’s favourites I have missed out here, but that’s why I want you to tell me them so I can go and watch them (if I haven’t already, haha). I love discovering new programmes to watch because am always gutted when they end and I know there are no more to come 🙁
Thanks for reading! Comment below & Enjoy watching! 😉
