My Amsterdam Food Diary…

As many of you might or might not be aware I took a short trip away to Amsterdam with my boyfriend back in May. Whilst we were there, as a typical lover of all food I took a photo (not a pretty ‘blogger’ style photo what so ever) of nearly everything I ate whilst on that trip, and on the flight back I was thinking about all the amazing food I’d had and that I wanted to share it with you all in case anyone was planning a trip to Amsterdam at some point in the future.

This post is more of a list of places I visited and the pictures to go with them, not a review style post, but if you are super interested in knowing a detailed review of a certain place please don’t hesitate to ask!

So without further ado here is a little list of the places we visited whilst away…

First breakfast of the trip we went to Mook Pancakes

We then went for a snack at Vleminckx homemade fries, and of course got fries with ketchup…

For dinner we got a reservation at the Museum Grand Cafe-Restaurant 1e klas in the train station…

After dinner and on the way back to the hotel we stopped off at The Bulldog Palace in Leidseplein for a few drinks…

Second breakfast of the trip we went to one of the many Bagels and Beans around Amsterdam…

Again, a little snack from Dunkin’ Donuts...

Unfortately I forgot to photograph the next two but we went to Lunchcafe Dialoog – Cafe next to Anne Franks just for a drink before heading inside the Anne Franks house.

Then later on we just wanted a McDonalds ahahah, so thats what we did and we took it back to the hotel for an early night.

Now this was my favourite place!! Pancakes Amsterdam near Centraal Station and guess what we got there… yes, PANCAKES!!!!

We then stopped off at The Grasshopper for a drink in between walking around sight seeing…

PRE WARNING… HANDS DOWN THE BEST BURGER I’VE EATEN….. we ate our dinner at Tasty Burger before going to the IceBar!!!

Our last day (not full day as we left before dinner time) but we got our breakfast at Cobra Cafe – near Rijksmuseum…

Then before we jetted off to the airport to fly home we stopped off at a little cafe ‘t Blauwe Theehuis in Vondelpark….

And that’s a wrap! All the places we visited when we went to Amsterdam I would highly recommend! Amsterdam is such an incredible place for trying new foods (which many people know is not something I do very often). As I said earlier, these weren’t ‘blogger’ style pretty photos, it was literally just before I took a bite! But I hope you enjoyed reading about the places we ate in Amsterdam and as I said if you want to know any more or any more detail then don’t be scared to comment or message me!

and as always,

Thanks for reading,

Han xx
