First Impressions: L’oréal Pure Clay Masks

So I am a bit late to the party with this review of the L’oréal Pure Clay Masks, but as always life gets in the way and things get put aside and added to the never ending ‘To-Do’ lists. I do want to just quickly mention that despite having only just posted this I did trial and test out these products within the last 2 months so I feel it’s still a pretty relevant review. Also, just to add I was wary at first of the product as I fear sometimes some face masks react with my skin so I do want to put out a pre-warning to anyone that is similar to me and say that I had no reaction or irritation with any of these masks whilst trying, and of course I have not been paid, sponsored or gifted these products to do this post, haha I wish 🙁

I went out and purchased the ‘Multi-masking play kit’ version of these (what I would consider samples) of the products and started immediately trialling the ‘Purity‘ green face mask in an attempt to purify and mattify my skin. I did feel that it mattified my skin a decent amount after a few uses although I couldn’t see much ‘clearing up’ of my skin happening, however this could just be my oily/combination skin type playing games with me.

Moving on to the ‘Detox‘ black face mask, this one I noticed the difference instantly and was highly impressed with it’s ability to draw out the impurities in my skin and I could wake up in the morning and treat my skin correctly having been made aware, from this mask, of all of those little niggles.

Finally, testing the ‘Glow‘ red face mask I noticed I didn’t like this one as much as the others as it left my face feeling very shiny and red (which might or might not be to do with the colour of the mask or just a reaction I had).

Overall, not insanely obsessed but definitely glad I tried them as I know that if I want to repurchase this I’d probably only buy the Black Detox one on it’s own.

If you have any suggestions on products I should trial and test for a review, do make sure to leave them in the comments below. I hope you’ve enjoyed this post!

I’m glad you had a try of these masks, I absolutely loved them. I tried and reviewed both the multi masking playkit as well as the detox mask on its own and was really not disappointed xx

I got this exact same kit for the same reason – to test them before I purchased the full size and they’ve just been sat in my bathroom for months! I tested them out the other day and loved the green and black one. I wasn’t too keen on the pink one but for now, I’ll still use it. I agree though, I’ll probably only buy the black one full size!
