20 Good Things to come out of 2020.

Without a shadow of a doubt, this year has been the most unexpected, heart-breaking, toughest 12 months of many peoples lives. I’d be stupid to think it’s been plain sailing for anyone around the world, especially as so many lives have been lost and so many economies and industries have been shattered, not to mention people’s livelihoods. However, as I always do I am going to try shine a ray of positivity on this post with counting down some of the ‘Good’ things that have come out of this year.

2020 Summed Up – Part 4

We Made It! I hope you all had a nice Christmas, of what you could make of it. 2020 is nearly over and jheez what a year it has been. I’ve been documenting it here on my blog and you can find part 1, part 2 and part 3 here. Despite it being a horrific and terrifying year for the world I have tried to keep a positive spin on this year’s recaps and try only remember the good parts. So without further ado… the final part of 2020 summed up.

Books I’ve Read in 2020.

As many of us know reading books became a huge habit for lots of us during Lockdown 1.0 and for many of us it became a hobby. Myself was no different. I had read a few books in the past few years but nothing like I was about to endeavour. As I’ve heard numerous times previously “The only wrong thing to say, is to say nothing at all” and I’d rather get it wrong and learn from that than not try at all, so here goes. If I do get it wrong please don’t scream, shout, degrade or shame me; show me how to improve, show me why I was wrong, show me how to grow and learn.

What’s going on?

As I am writing this I’m currently in lock down in my flat in Leicester. Following advice from government and NHS to avoid getting ill from the COVID-19. I do understand a lot of people are in the same scenario as I am, whether that be; isolated alone or with a flatmate or family members, possibly working from home or now in an furloughed position at work, trying your best not to go insane in this temporary situation we all find ourselves in. I just wanted to pop on here to spill some thoughts about it all. Continue reading “What’s going on?”

New Year? A thread of questions…

A friend tagged me in a post on Instagram (original post here) of a thread of tweets from @werenotreallystrangers in which they give you questions to ask yourself before new year, I love this as I am all about and all for self-reflection and self-improvement etc so I thought why not make it into a blog post to look back on, so here goes…

P.s. I originally wanted to post this before NYE however I’ve been a little bit busy and also very ill & all over the place atm, it’s that time of year ay? So anyway…..
