So yes, it has been a while and these months actually feel more than just 2 months (as I’m writing this) ago. I fell a bit behind on tracking my 2020 summed up posts, but nevertheless, it’s here. I will admit it’s not the most interesting as you will see however it is still part of the whirlwind of 2020 we have found ourselves in.Continue reading “2020 Summed Up – Part 3”
As we all know, 2020 has already turned out to be quite the year, with the rest looking to follow it’s footsteps. This post is going to the first of a few posts as I feel I have a lot to document. It’ll be something to look back on in years to come.Continue reading “2020 Summed Up – Part 1”
As most students do, during summer they start moving home because accommodations don’t have the option to stay over summer. And lets be real, we do miss home a lot more than some of us admit (yes, me included!). I’ve moved back home now, for just under 3 months which personally makes me so happy! Getting to finally spend time with family and friends with no sort of time restraint.Continue reading “Moving Back Home for 3 Months?!”
I have been tossing back and forth whether to post something on here or not. As I’ve heard numerous times previously “The only wrong thing to say, is to say nothing at all” and I’d rather get it wrong and learn from that than not try at all, so here goes. If I do get it wrong please don’t scream, shout, degrade or shame me; show me how to improve, show me why I was wrong, show me how to grow and learn.Continue reading “BLM”
As I am writing this I’m currently in lock down in my flat in Leicester. Following advice from government and NHS to avoid getting ill from the COVID-19. I do understand a lot of people are in the same scenario as I am, whether that be; isolated alone or with a flatmate or family members, possibly working from home or now in an furloughed position at work, trying your best not to go insane in this temporary situation we all find ourselves in. I just wanted to pop on here to spill some thoughts about it all. Continue reading “What’s going on?”
A friend tagged me in a post on Instagram (original post here) of a thread of tweets from @werenotreallystrangers in which they give you questions to ask yourself before new year, I love this as I am all about and all for self-reflection and self-improvement etc so I thought why not make it into a blog post to look back on, so here goes…
P.s. I originally wanted to post this before NYE however I’ve been a little bit busy and also very ill & all over the place atm, it’s that time of year ay? So anyway…..
Where do I begin…. I’ve posted on here before about Stay Sassy, I wrote a blog post after my first ever event back in February 2018 which I’ll link here. If you’re a bit confused or want a refresher on what #StaySassy is I’d recommend you go read that first. It’s now October 2019 and I just attended my 10th event and my gosh was it one to remember.
Finally, after what seems a very long time coming, I’m moved in and settling in very nicely at my new flat in Leicester and I’m taking on my 2nd year at Addict! This post is one I have been thinking about writing for a while as I wanted to document the long process of finding the flat from the very beginning to now having moved in and settled.
It’s just going to be the “how I got here” kind of post because as I said it’s been a long time since I first saw this flat.
So the day has finally come, after three years at college (2 of which being 1st year) and now two long gruelling years of being a 1st year Uni student and Dance school student, I can finally say my 2nd year has arrived! I wrote a post at the beginning of summer called ‘University wasn’t for me..So I chose dance school!‘ and that kind of explains my University Vs Dance School drama. Having just moved in to my new flat in Leicester ready to take on my 2nd year at Dance school, I’m going to write about my numerous times of being a first year student.
