Inside my YouTube Subscriptions

Ever like being super nosy and see what people are loving? I love reading people’s favourites lists e.g: YouTube favourites, podcast favourites, book favourites, make-up favourites. The list goes on. So I have made a list of the YouTube channels I am subscribed to (the majority anyway, if I listed all of them we’d be here all day) and watch almost religiously, haha. Here we go..

How I’ve been entertaining myself in Lockdown

This was going to be ‘What I’ve read in Lockdown’ post however I realised I’ve done a lot more than just that. I’m going to share everything I’ve been doing during Lockdown to keep myself entertained. I’ll hopefully not forget anything but I can pre-warn you now, there’s a lot! This was written before the announcement given about the changes coming on the 4th July.

Struggling for Productivity?

It’s become a thing that you are even team #productive or team #whatdayisit? in lockdown. Now, before I start, I am not saying you have to be productive everyday or at all, this period of time is your time, do with it what you like. I’ve found myself either having super productive days or literally doing naff all, so I thought I’d write this in case it helps anyone else in the same position.

BLM

I have been tossing back and forth whether to post something on here or not. As I’ve heard numerous times previously “The only wrong thing to say, is to say nothing at all” and I’d rather get it wrong and learn from that than not try at all, so here goes. If I do get it wrong please don’t scream, shout, degrade or shame me; show me how to improve, show me why I was wrong, show me how to grow and learn.

Tips, Tricks and General Advice for New Bloggers!

Recently I’ve been getting a few questions around the topic of blogging and starting up blogs. Firstly, I feel honoured that anyone would even consider asking myself as I have only been blogging for nearly 3 years now so I don’t consider myself established enough to be answering their questions. However I have learnt a lot in these few years and I would consider myself a good person to come to for advice.

DIY Photo-shoots and Producing ‘At Home’ Content.

So as a content creator in lockdown, it’s been hard to come up with new and refreshing content (especially as a fashion/lifestyle blogger as you normally rely on the outdoors and help of others to put on shoots) however this doesn’t mean you have to stop posting content. I’ve recently partaken in a shoot I created in my own flat (along with my flatmate), we took our items we wanted shooting (whether it be fashion, activewear, or actual products) and my camera and put on our own little DIY-at-home-photo-shoot.

New Year? A thread of questions…

A friend tagged me in a post on Instagram (original post here) of a thread of tweets from @werenotreallystrangers in which they give you questions to ask yourself before new year, I love this as I am all about and all for self-reflection and self-improvement etc so I thought why not make it into a blog post to look back on, so here goes…

P.s. I originally wanted to post this before NYE however I’ve been a little bit busy and also very ill & all over the place atm, it’s that time of year ay? So anyway…..

2017 Round-up

*Pre-warning: Long post… but hopefully worth your time*

There’s no lying that for me 2017 was the biggest roller-coaster year I’ve had, I lost track of how many highs and lows I had after about June. However despite the lows that came with 2017 I wanted to reflect on them, learn from them and move on. My highs were the happy moments that got me through the lows and these also deserve to be mentioned. Here’s a mini timeline list of my roller-coaster year of 2017… Continue reading “2017 Round-up”
