Updated Skincare Routine

Recently my skin has been fluctuating as much as the weather (a lot if you’re living anywhere but England, ha!) but I think I might have got into a real routine with looking after my skin during lockdown. We all know that ‘Lockdown Skin’ or ‘Quaratine Skin’ is a thing; just random breakouts whenever they fancy. I’m determined not to give in to those.

I made my own Birchbox!

When in London at the end of January I was strolling the streets and saw a shop I hadn’t seen before! The pop up shop for Birchbox! I spoke to the girl at the till and she said that it was only meant to be open until 31st Jan however they’re extended their time there and aren’t leaving till March! So if you haven’t already and are able to I’d highly recommend going down for a pop in. Continue reading “I made my own Birchbox!”

First Impressions: L’oréal Pure Clay Masks

So I am a bit late to the party with this review of the L’oréal Pure Clay Masks, but as always life gets in the way and things get put aside and added to the never ending ‘To-Do’ lists. I do want to just quickly mention that despite having only just posted this I did trial and test out these products within the last 2 months so I feel it’s still a pretty relevant review. Also, just to add I was wary at first of the product as I fear sometimes some face masks react with my skin so I do want to put out a pre-warning to anyone that is similar to me and say that I had no reaction or irritation with any of these masks whilst trying, and of course I have not been paid, sponsored or gifted these products to do this post, haha I wish 🙁 Continue reading “First Impressions: L’oréal Pure Clay Masks”

My Skincare Routine

So over the past six months I have been learning and researching so much on skincare and skin health as I haven’t been one of the ‘lucky‘ ones with bright clear skin every day. I created a skincare routine that I try and follow as many days as I can to try keep on top of improving my skin. I made sure that I identified my main problems first before deciding anything; Continue reading “My Skincare Routine”

Primark & Superdrug Haul!

So I went on a little shopping spree, and when I say little I mean I didn’t buy the entire shop, but I definitely had arm ache when leaving. I started in Primark and then went to Superdrug and also called at a local garden centre on my way home. Here’s what I bought:

So when I go into Primark, I never leave with what I went in for but somehow I always spend way more than budgeted, how does that happen? I have just moved house and will be moving to uni in September so was looking for little room accessories to decorate and although I did find some I also found 2 dresses and a jumpsuit. My Experience with ‘Dermalogica’ Product Samples…

Recently I haven’t been very happy with my skin and I admit that I’m very bad at looking after it, so I set myself a mission. My first step was to visit someone who knew what they were doing, so a quick google search showed a few ‘Skin specialists’ and ‘dermatologists’ not too far from me, offering skin consultations. Empties: Restock or Regret?

I’ve seen plenty of people do these type of videos and posts but I thought I’d give it a go too. I’m sure there’ll be someone, somewhere that’s interested in finding out about some products I’ve loved so much, I used until they were entirely empty! I love reading these type of posts and watching the videos, it makes me consider buying the items a lot more, knowing someone enjoyed it that much to completely finish it.
