So back in September I booked to go to the Blogosphere Christmas Festival which will be my first blogging event since starting up my blog on June 10th and the time has now come for me to write my post on my experience of the day. Continue reading “My First Blogging Event: Blogosphere Christmas Festival!”
So as of now I’ve been blogging for 2 months and 7 days, so I thought I’d write a post about my experience so far because although it hasn’t been long, I’ve learnt so much which I feel I should share with the people I learnt it from. You.
The first thing that I noticed when I started up my blog was the amount of decisions to be made, not just what to write, but what theme and colour and font you want on your blog, how many menus you want, if there is a ‘read more‘ line etc… this was when I first realised it’s not as simple as I thought. Recently I’ve been getting a few questions around the topic of blogging and starting up blogs. Firstly, I feel honoured that anyone would even consider asking myself as I have only been blogging for nearly 3 years now so I don’t consider myself established enough to be answering their questions. However I have learnt a lot in these few years and I would consider myself a good person to come to for advice.Continue reading “Tips, Tricks and General Advice for New Bloggers!”
As I’m writing this post we are all still in lockdown/quarantine and I thought I’d try bring some positivity to the blogging world (not that we need it, it’s the most supportive community I’m a part of!) but just sharing my love of other blogs and bloggers that I enjoy reading:Continue reading “Blogs & Bloggers I’m Loving ATM”
As we all are aware, no one seems to know when this lock down/quarantine time will end and I think I’m becoming okay with that. I normally live such a structured life and everything has to go to plan and I’ve always got to be busy, but that isn’t the case anymore. I’ve been enjoying doing a little less and realised I don’t need to be busy 24/7 or ‘switched-on’ 100% of my time.Continue reading “Things I’ll take with me after Quarantine.”
Week Eleven: ‘What do you think you’d be doing with your life right now if money didn’t matter?’
Now when thinking about this question; I thought of it in two ways; as if money didn’t matter because I had endless amounts or if currency wasn’t a thing at all, nothing would cost anything. Both I’d come to realise would still give me the same outcome. Continue reading “‘Loving You’: What do you think you’d be doing with your life right now if money didn’t matter?”
As we’re coming into the dark months of the year and not seeing as much sunshine or daylight as we’d like, many of us start to think of where we’d want to go on holiday or places we’d like to visit and so when I first started blogging back in 2017; I wrote a UK-Based Travel Bucket List (which I’ve now made private as in my opinion it’s a rubbish blog post, haha) however then in 2018 I ‘updated’ that bucket list to include places outside the UK. Continue reading “*Re-Updated* Travel Bucket List”
This is not going to be a long post at all, just a little update to let you know I’m still here, still blogging just not publishing anything at the moment, over the last few months I’ve put blogging to the back of my mind in exchange for my academics and just general social life as I felt I was putting too much pressure on myself to keep up to date in blog posts. Continue reading “A quick update…”
Hi there, as many of you know, yes, I have a blog, and yes, I know I’ve not been active recently on here with posting or just overall active on my social media for this blog. Since going to Amsterdam back in May I’ve not touched my WordPress or even thought about coming on here to write a post and to be honest with you, I’ve no idea why I haven’t wrote any posts or published anything. I have been incredibly busy which would definitely play a huge part in it, I’ve not spent more than 10 days in one place, I’ve been back and forth and all over since finishing my first year at uni.
SUNDAY 18TH FEB, KAREN HARDY DANCE STUDIOS, LONDON.
This was one of the best days of my life. I walked into a dance studio feeling shy, low self-esteem and nervous for the day ahead. I walked out of that same studio feeling sassy, powerful and ready to take on the entire world. All thanks to Steph Elswood and her amazing team (including her stunning mum, Sue! And her talented best friend Lottie!) Continue reading “Stay Sassy Event!”
