Here we are… we made it! 2021, finally seen the end of 2020. This isn’t me jinxing this year saying it’s going to be better but we can hope and manifest all the positivity, happiness and health for this year to come.
*editing Hannah here: When I wrote this post, it was post-christmas but pre-new year so the lockdown 3.0 had not been announced, however I have high hopes that this will be the last one and then it will leave us alone to complete what a happy year I feel 2021 will become*
Having had such a uncertain and horrific year, I do look back on it with some element of positivity due to my 20 good things to happen in 2020 list. Setting goals for 2021 was something I was unsure of whether I was going to do, I have been goal setting every year since around 2016, not necessarily ‘new year resolutions’ just some specific and generic goals I’d like to achieve around that period of time.
I wrote a post over on my Fitness Instagram (post below) regarding 2021 goals and I thought I’d write a blog post stating my goals to hold me accountable.
So without further ado… My 2021 Goals!
- Graduate with 1st Class Degree.
- Complete my Level 2 Fitness Instructor Certificate.
- Complete my Level 3 Personal Training Diploma.
- Get a job working in a gym/fitness facility.
- Take on 5 PT/Online Clients.
- Buy a car after graduating.
- Read 12 books.
- Once a month partake in a #DigitalDetox Day.
- Hit 100kg on my Hip Thrusts.
- Teach some dance classes/workshops.
These are only 10 of my 2021 goals, I do have a few more, some along similar lines but thought I’d just keep it to 10 for this post. I won’t be setting too much pressure on myself to achieve each and every one of these goals because as we all know by now, this year could be very unpredictable, leaving some of these goals harder to achieve than others.
Despite this I like to have something to strive for and focus on, so that I will.
