Recently my skin has been fluctuating as much as the weather (a lot if you’re living anywhere but England, ha!) but I think I might have got into a real routine with looking after my skin during lockdown. We all know that ‘Lockdown Skin’ or ‘Quaratine Skin’ is a thing; just random breakouts whenever they fancy. I’m determined not to give in to those.Continue reading “Updated Skincare Routine”
As we all are aware, no one seems to know when this lock down/quarantine time will end and I think I’m becoming okay with that. I normally live such a structured life and everything has to go to plan and I’ve always got to be busy, but that isn’t the case anymore. I’ve been enjoying doing a little less and realised I don’t need to be busy 24/7 or ‘switched-on’ 100% of my time.Continue reading “Things I’ll take with me after Quarantine.”
Since this whole lock-down / quarantine event happened, I’ve been putting more time towards things that I’ve been wanting to do for a while or revisiting things I used to do when I had more time.
Reading has been one of these things, I used to read, now when I say this I mean occasionally not every night, unless the book was GOOOOD. But I definitely read more when I was younger (as the majority of people do) so I said to myself I was going to take up reading more. I find setting myself goals in how many books I want to read in what time frame makes me more likely to read too, as well as making a To-Read List. Continue reading “My To – Read List”
So this recipe is a kind of repeat of the Banana Bread recipe as you are doing a lot of the same stuff and using the same ingredients in this however with a few differences.Continue reading “Baking Time: Banana and Blueberry Muffins”
Now I have previously done posts on ‘Self-Care’ before and My Self-Care Checklist… However now we are in Lock down/Quarantine, I feel self care is at it’s most important and thought I’d share a collection of things that I do or know of to have a self care session. Continue reading “Taking Care in Lock Down”
This seems to be one of the most popular things to bake at the moment and my guess as to why is because it’s so easy! First people were panic-buying toilet roll now they’re after the flour and sugar! This is a very basic recipe but feel free to add in extras such as chocolate chips, protein powder, blueberries etc…
I found this idea when scrolling through a number of other bloggers websites, this idea came from a lovely girl called Ellie K which you can find her post here. I did have a few ideas to put into this anyway but seeing that others have made it into a blog post, I thought why not? And I’d also love to know what’s on your Post Quarantine To-Do List. Continue reading “My Post Quarantine To-Do List”
So this recipe is quite basic to follow and the ingredients list is very simple too. My flatmate and I have made these numerous times and you’ll find us making them again (probably) straight after this post goes live, haha. Continue reading “Baking Time: Chocolate Protein Cookies”
Out with the old, in with the new. My last post (apart from the lil update regarding COVID-19 – find here) on my blog was the ending of my last series called ‘Loving You’, if you missed that, be sure to catch up here and find out what it was all about.
This post is the beginning of a new series that I’ve been wanting to do for a while now, well since about October. Continue reading “Baking Time: New Series!”
As I am writing this I’m currently in lock down in my flat in Leicester. Following advice from government and NHS to avoid getting ill from the COVID-19. I do understand a lot of people are in the same scenario as I am, whether that be; isolated alone or with a flatmate or family members, possibly working from home or now in an furloughed position at work, trying your best not to go insane in this temporary situation we all find ourselves in. I just wanted to pop on here to spill some thoughts about it all. Continue reading “What’s going on?”
